A Little History about Sejersen DPS

When our company was founded in 1996, we specialized in providing pre-press services to the printing industry, design firms, advertising agencies and corporate clients. We quickly became known as San Diego's premier source for scanning, color corrections and photo retouching, as well as preparing film and color proofs to industry standards for magazine ads, catalogs, packaging and countless other types of printed products.

Over the years...

...from a time when technologies such as the internet, digital and ink jet printing were in their infancy, much has changed, where the need for many of the services we used to provide simply don't exist any more. However, we have always strived to stay at the forefront of these technological changes, and we have had the privilege of being a partner and beta tester in the development of a number of products that are now ubiquitous in the printing industry, working with companies such as Scitex, Creo, Kodak and EFI. We still provide complete pre-press services, but we have added many other capabilities, such as wide format printing, limited edition art and photo prints, packaging prototyping, as well as digital and offset printing up to 64" wide.

Our Greatest Strengths

One of our greatest strengths over the years has been our skill in working with color and color management, of which we were an early adopter some 17 years ago, and we actually were the first and, during the early stages of development, only beta site for Kodak in the development of their current flagship color management product for the printing industry - ColorFlow. Among other things, this color expertise enables us to match color across different types of output, so you don't end up with color mismatches between your offset printed brochures, digitally printed flyers, ink jet posters, packaging, trade show gaphics, etc.
